uidMaker is a UUID/GUID generator tool with some handy options. It is designed to help software developers, database administrators and other IT professionals to perform one of the most common tasks, such is generating a UUID/GUID. The options for faster use include:
* generated UUID/GUID is automatically copied to clipboard
* program can exit automatically after generating UUID/GUID and copying it to clipboard
uidMaker is free for personal use (but needs to be registered).
There is more advanced version of uidMaker for commercial use, which includes some interesting options, primarily for integration with software development environments and database management consoles. At the moment it includes integration with Eclipse 3.4 Ganymede and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition. New release of advanced version is expected soon, with integration to more IDEs and MCs, like Eclipse 3.5 Galileo, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
