Winsonar 2002 is a program specifically designed for process monitoring purposes: it detectes new processes that permanently install themselves into memory while system is working.
The basic idea is that if the user could know a new program permanently installed into memory, he could readily scan
it using an updated antivirus program: viruses couldn't really hide for a long time before being detected.
Winsonar 2002 program consists of a memory resident part, loaded on system startup, that automatically checks the execution of a new process in the background: if this program shows to be permanently installed into memory, Winsonar opens a simplified first-step interface, giving the possibility to include the program in a list of safe
programs or to terminate it, including it then among programs considered as unsafe.
The full program interface can also be recalled, giving the possibility to run manual memory scans, to inspect all running tasks, even if hidden, or to retrieve technical information about running programs.
