This product is a complete solution for building an effective FAQ section for your website. You can easily update your FAQ list and download to your server with no prior knowledge of HTML. Create Questions and Answers that can be linked to one another. Links to outside HTML pages can be embedded within your answers. Site visitors can either choose from your list of questions or rely on natural language queries to find the answers to their questions.The package includes everything for creating questions and answers, providing general information, building FAQ page properties, and easily transferring your new FAQ page to your server.Stauri™ FAQtaur Components:FAQtaur.exeThis is the development application. It will only run on the Microsoft® Windows operating system. This application builds the knowledge base and stores it in a file called STFAQ.DB that will upload to your server when you have built your FAQ. This makes managing and changing your FAQ very simple.Stfaq.exeThis is the CGI application that runs on your Microsoft® Windows server. The installation of this CGI application is handled by the FAQtaur application. However, if you wish to manually install this application you can upload it to your server to any directory that supports script execution. The STFAQ.DB file and STFAQ.HTM file must be uploaded to the same directory as Stfaq.exeFAQTemp.htmThis is the default template from which FAQtaur builds the web page for your FAQ. If you know HTML you can build your own templates. Please see the section on Advanced Development for further information.The FAQtaur program can be used by web developers to develop elaborate FAQs in existing or new web sites. Although it contains tools to enable people with no web development experience to produce an effective FAQ page, it is also flexible enough for web developers to produce leading edge results.
