The Home Audiometer Hearing Test software turns your PC into a device that can test your hearing through a standard sound card. The test procedure follows international ISO and IEC standards.Due to the nature of the calibration this cannot be quite as accurate as a professional hearing test at an ear clinic, but in any case it gives a good indication if there is a hearing problem or not and how severe it might be.The accuracy is within 10-15 dB of the true hearing level, compared to around 5dB of a professional test. This is over a total measureable hearing range of 70dB.Features include:- Test procedure to ISO standards;- Graphical display of results;- System is calibrated by ear without external hardware;- Data analysis and categorisation;Registered users are eligible to unlimited updates when they are released.
