File Watcher lets you monitor all file activity on your hard drive in real-time. You can select the directory (optional subdirectories) and the program will report all changes or activities that are taking place in your file system. You can see what files are being modified, accessed, renamed, created and even which files are having their security settings modified. Useful for monitoring shared directories or to keep an eye on what files are being installed or altered during software installations. File Watcher reports fine level of detail not only about whether the file has changed, been created, renamed or deleted but also about which particular file property has been affected.
