DocMoto is an internet ready, multi-user document and file management system. Fully integrated into Window\'s native file manager, Windows Explorer, DocMoto is as simple to work with as a network drive. Users can drag and drop files in and out of a DocMoto repository using familiar windows interfaces. Anybody who has ever copied a file from a digital camera to a desktop PC has enough skill to use DocMoto. A standards based WebDAV server, DocMoto repositories can be accessed internally or via the internet, making them ideal for both internal and externally based staff, customers or clients. Powerful full text or content searching is supplied, with users being able to search on a file\'s contents as well as just the file name. As standard all Microsoft Office file formats can be searched, other file types are also supported. Files can also be searched by user definable meta data such as author, subject, project or case. DocMoto supports a comprehensive revision control system, with complete file check in and check out controls. A complete file audit trail is provided with a full revision history being viewable. Users can readily keep track of files they are working with through the My Files feature. System administrators are also provided with full details on the files currently undergoing revision. Full access control is supported through a sophisticated group based security model. A powerful change notification feature allows users to subscribe to files and folders they are interested in. Support for third party scanning software and reporting tools is also provided through DocMoto\'s free of charge File Transfer Utility. Complete with an import facility for large file volumes, DocMoto supports a choice of data storage technologies including Microsoft SQL Server.
DocMoto stores and manages any type of electronic file such as word processor documents, spreadsheets, drawings, music and photographs.

Any changes made to a file (revisions) are automatically stored preventing the loss of work and making it simple to view previous versions.

Users can subscribe to folders and files. Once subscribed users are automatically notified via email of all file/folder updates and additions.

DocMoto is a multi-user system; many people can work together on a single file without ever having to worry about overwriting each others work.

Incorporating a simple but extremely powerful security system, users can be restricted in the files they can access. DocMoto also includes a file recovery mechanism making deleted files easy to recover.

Purposefully designed for ease of use, the DocMoto feature set has been deliberately kept straightforward. Its uncluttered interface is suitable for all levels of user.

DocMoto requires no additional software such as databases and can be installed in minutes with no technical knowledge. DocMoto is a client server implementation of the open, published Internet protocol WebDAV.
