I’ve been using Dameware NT Utilities for about a month now after a friend recommended it. I find that it simplifies an administrators job immensely. With the ability to take control of a remote computer and assist users without having to install something prior makes it a breeze. Just select the machine and the service is installed and started with no end user interaction.
It also has the ability to create reports of machine info as well as remotely view the event log and hardware info such as processor and hard drive.
